Maserati’s premium mid-size SUV joins the award-winning lineup of Italian automotive wonders and, together with the MC20 supercar, leads the brand’s charge into its bold new era of essential audacity and passion.
The beautifully sculpted exterior exudes presence, grace, and thoughtful details. The proportions are not just a visual standout as they contribute to the Grecale’s superior, class-leading spaciousness. Passenger space, rear legroom, and overall storage capacity are unmatched and contribute to an airy and delightful interior. Two configurable touchscreens remove the need for physical buttons when operating and configuring the Grecale’s vehicle settings. The upper-mounted 12.3″ screen operates the vehicle’s technology while the lower-mounted 8.8″ screen handles extra controls. The iconic clockface is, for the first time, digital and configurable, and rear passengers also have access to a touchscreen to configure their climate and comfort settings. Further elevating the interior experience is the Sonus faber 3D sound system, an immersive 14-speaker system tailored specifically to the Grecale.
Powering the Grecale are either a characterful and brisk mild-hybrid 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four cylinder engine, or a staunch and muscular 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine derived from the MC20 supercar. The former powertrain is available on GT and Modena trim levels with power ranging from 300 bhp – 330 bhp and, thanks to the mild-hybrid system, offer great utility and improved fuel consumption with the Grecale’s stop-start system and ability to drive under electric power at low speeds, all without the need to plug-in to recharge the system. The former Nettuno V6 engine is available exclusively in Trofeo trim and outputs a manic 530 bhp. This sees Grecale achieve further superlatives in its class with the highest top speed of 285 km/h and quickest acceleration from 0 – 100 km/h in under 3.8-seconds.
