The MC20 super sports car offers an unparalleled driving experience and the all-new MC20 Cielo elevates this dynamic experience for driver and passenger with added open-air thrills from the innovative glass hardtop.
Utilizing Polymer-Dispersed Liquid Crystal (PDLC) technology, the MC20 Cielo's glass hardtop not only can be raised or lowered like a traditional cabriolet roof at the push of a button but also can adjust the amount of light entering the interior. This means that, while the roof is raised, the occupants can choose to have clear glass for a full naturally-lit interior or have the glass become tint-like allowing less light to pass through. Additionally, advanced engineering ensures best-in-class thermal insulation, interior ergonomics, and a truly unique and configurable atmosphere. Further technologies introduced for the MC20 range are autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign information, and an enhanced 360-degree camera for added driving ease.
Thanks to the diligent use of lightweight carbon, the MC20 Cielo weighs only 65 kg more than its coupe sibling - total mass is now 1565 kg. This minimal mass increase sees that the MC20 Cielo has near-identical performance figures to the MC20 coupe. The proven Nettuno 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine still outputs a staunch 621 bhp and 730 Nm of torque. 0-100 km/h in 3.0-seconds, top speed in excess of 320 km/h, and stopping distance from 100 km/h - 0 km/h in under 40 meters with the optional carbon ceramic material (CCM) brakes. The MC20's stunning bodywork and underbody have been lightly modified, most so in the rear quarters, for optimal aerodynamics both top-up and top-down in all directions.
